We are in the Beaver Creek Village at our newest Young Colors store @ the covered bridge.  Today we thought we could talk about Easter – as we get to dress many children in adorable outfits for the Holiday and Family occasions...our favorite time of year!

Donna’s unique designs are as unique as each child.  She uses Batik – an ancient art process to make the fabrics.

  1. Donna designs the motifs and color combination
  2. The metal artist makes the Stamp or “Cap” from copper
  3. 5th generation designers make our fabrics – using layers of wax and color to make a unique fabric

Batik is a resist dye process…very similar to coloring Easter Eggs.  Today Donna is making an appearance at Spring Fest Today in the Beaver Creek Village Plaza

4 to 5:30 Interactive Batik Dyeing Demo by Young Colors (Plaza)

The Retail stores are amazing – Donna and I love working in the stores as we meet Guests from all over the world.   This week we are seeing guests from England, all over Mexico, Dubai, etc

Donna designs unique fabrics using the artisan art process of batik from Bali.  Now available in Young Colors Beaver Creek are these fun Color Stories for Spring:

  1. Carrots
  2. Vintage Whites
  3. Frumpy Rumps Boy – Navy Overall & Girls Cotton Candy 2 piece set
  4. Crocheted Pink Ruffle Brim hat with a Bow – perfect for Easter!

Come on by and visit!  Get to know us and our story!  We are located at the bus stop by the Covered Bridge in the Beaver Creek Lodge at Beaver Creek Village.

Enjoy Easter!
